Joseph Hamlett
Joseph Hamlet is a dedicated cellist and educator based in Florida. A graduate of the Blake School for the Arts, he served as principal cellist of the chamber, symphony, and philharmonic orchestras, earning top honors at state Solo and Ensemble competitions. He later attended the University of North Florida, where he held the position of Principal Cellist with the UNF Symphony Orchestra and was awarded the Tonsfeldt Scholarship.
Joseph has performed with the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, completed an internship with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and studied under Scott Kluksdahl at the University of South Florida. A Suzuki-certified teacher, he remains an active performer and mentor, appearing with the Rivers International Music Ministry and other ensembles throughout Florida. Passionate about both performance and education, Joseph continues to inspire audiences and students alike through his artistry and dedication.
